Happy birthday SarahWoo
Nice pacing CStar.
I was up early to do a course safety check with a mate ahead of parkrun - 3 miles, legs ached a smidge but in a good way. Soaked in the bath for nearly an hour. Lovely. Dudette is getting dropped off in a bit.

went to Berwick, jogged little two round the walls while hubby did 2 laps with oldest; then dumped little two on him and scooted round a second time at my own pace. Overheated - surprisingly mild despite the wind.
Looking forward to some PR PB/fancy dress/however you want to celebrate

Well run all parkruners s, slow means something different to me š
Once the tail walker passed, I was half way through rolling up about 500 metres of wet muddy tape & collecting posts & cones and realised the hut would be locked by the time I finished, so ran back for help. Wondered if that was a valid reason to use the RD emergency no. on my lanyard sheet š other marshals had taken a shortcut having decided as they couldnāt see it round the corner, it wasnāt there.
Seriously, take care LG, patience needed to recover quicker. Bother, so busy whining (even my face was mud splattered but didnāt know it at the time, embarrassing) Iāve forgotten the rest, except
Happy Birthday SarahWoo, & again to Reggi, no longer nought, hope you all, & your families, have a lovely day. That š° - just brilliant

Unguent for LG and ITG
I parkrunners, then ran back to the car because I'd forgotten my barcode, then back to parkrun without a barcode because the one I keep in the glove compartment has vanished (although there were six of Mr Carp's in there). Then back to the car again.
Great British Garden Birdwatch with my mum this afternoon (robin, great tits, blackbirds, starlings, a goldfinch and a pidge) then an unexpected opportunity for nephew cuddles

Happy birthday sarahwoo & Reggi š
Volunteering at parkrun today. Ran the route afterwards. But Garmin took a feel turn & recorded 4.50 miles @ 6.37 pace over Norwegian waters instead of 3.25 trail miles! Very strange signal pick up!

Wetherby is pretty flat. I did Harrogate today, not totally flat, thereās a small grassy incline, but Iād class it as flat. However neither are fastvat the moment due to mud, when dry theyād both be quite fast

I reckon Kesgrave has to be up there as one of the flattest courses. A bit boring as well until the end when there's a lovely little bit through a wood.
