Boo to the arm LG, hopefully it'll be one of those random things that vanishes as easily as it arrived.
TeeBee, those are awesome photos. Cute nephew
That is a fabulous cake MM Can't believe Reggi is one, I remember the thread waiting for his arrival last year
I have run and spun and then unexpectedly run again (someone was going to meet me at the gym with my bag and then we drive home together after a steam and a shower, but decided to stay home).

Glad you got out for a run Carp but sorry you never the steam afterwards.
I am really struggling to lift my arm, touch a certain bit of it and I feel sick with the pain. I do think it's muscular though so will ease off eventually:-(

That doesn't sound good LG, although it does sound muscular. You may have torn it a bit.
I have just discovered that the shower is broken. This is doubly annoying because we don't have running hot water.

LG that sounds really miserable. It does sound like a tear unfortunately. Go gently with it.

Oh Carp:( a non-working shower when a shower is the one thing you want is a right bugger [or roit buggor, as the Lincs accent is creeping back)
sick with the pain LG, is not good especially when you're not aware of doing anything daft to it. Hope pain goes as quickly as it arrived!
forgot all else, tired

Bugger to Carp's shower and LG's ouchies.
I'll copy and paste how I described tonight's run in a facebook group: "Stick a fork in me. I'm done. Toughest training run in ages, if not ever!! Eleven miles of hills, ankle deep mud, with a mate, our headtorches and some jelly beans. Oh, and I found a good test to see if a fence is electric. If it makes you go "OH" really loudly and you fly back a foot with a zing that travels right down to your cold plums then it's definitely electric. That was my favourite run in a long, long time. 103 miles so far this month, it's looking like this could be one of my best ever."
I'm off to bed in a min, run directing at parkrun tomorrow so will be doing a course safety check at 7.15am......it'll be slow.
