Morning all.
No running yesterday but I led my first session on a C25K program.
Disappointed that only 3 turned up, but I had 4 apologies for not being able to make it this week.
Maybe they will make it next week...!

Bit icy on the pavements but a nice run done. Off to stretch - trying to remember to do that after every run

re E24: FM and I just wrote encouraging notes to each other on our whiteboard last year :-)
Do it, Dipps, you'll love it. I'm back for a 4th year despite saying I would give it a break. Tm of 4 this time.

Hopefully a better turn out next week, Sinj, but I'm sure you inspired the 3 that turned up

Tried a new route along the river today - done it in the opposite direction before, and done it one way in this direction, but never tried crossing the bridge and making it a loop before. There's a reason for that: there's not actually a path on the Scottish bank. Also, probably not the nest day to try it out, as the river has only just retreated back into it's banks, leaving a load of debris and a layer or skitey flood mud behind. It took rather longer and involved more scrambling than expected...

I suspect the dog enjoyed it a bit more than I did...!

I’ve had runs like that, Ymee :)

You’ll just have to learn Japanese yourself, TeeBee. It’s not that hard :)

Sinj: if some of them don’t come back, please send them in the direction of my beginner running study, specially designed for people who can’t make it to a group! See my blog...
Zumba was fab. My legs hurt from lots of exercise this week though!

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
