I absolutely loved it. Definitely a good ultra training run. Felt like I'd ran a lot more than 11 miles. :-)

Evening all ..

I'm relieved to say I've never had fried plums .. but I've had frozen ones ;) Boo to LG's hurty arm ..

I'm 'planning' to run tomorrow (need to check with my 'social secretary' in the morning to see if there's something else I'm supposed to be doing that I've forgotten about!). I DO know I need to get a table out of the loft for a party on Sunday - so probably best if I do that pre-run while I still have the energy.

Awesome run Som :)

I have had a bath - finally managed to get the boiler on for some hot water about 11pm :-o

It is now almost 3am though and I can't sleep. Poo.

Ouch Som, ⚡️ that fence doesn’t sound battery-charged, must have been plugged into mains, off-road at night is interesting.

LG hope your arm recovered spontaneously overnight & didn’t keep you awake.
(and having seen conversations on here taking place in the early hours, fingers Xed that everyone had a good sleep)
luck Serendippily, a Saturday race :-)
Morning :-) wet parkrun marshalling for me, haven’t had the email reminder but am on the roster thingy.

Good plan, Bint!
Hope your arm feels better this morning, LG.
Glad you got hot water eventually, Carp.
Great run description, Som :)
Fabulous cake, Moo - what a lucky little birthday boy xx

I too have had a lousy night’s sleep. Good job I don’t have to do much today.
Have a great Saturday everyone xx

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
