8 miles done this morning with a couple of run chums. Weather far better than yesterday. Feeling the effects of yesterday’s kettlebell class. Back bit sore & stiff today. Must stick with it though.

Pod says I’m rubbish at calf stretches and should only ever ice 3 min at a time. She applied some stretchy tape so I am now blackfoot (arrr)

:-) & :-0 - I couldn’t tell if I’d let someone out or not. Hoping to look on amnesty day.

Kim my backed ached while running after I started the gym strengthening, it’s fine now. Think I was mis-using back during the core strength reps.

Does anykne know if Freeze gel is a good alternative to icing? My pod told me to continue with icing but it's a bit of a faff to sit with a bag of frozen peas on your foot, so I'm thinking freeze gel might have a similar effect. What do 700ers think/know about this?

8 miles done on the bike, delivering Christmas cards but also just 'practising' :-)

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
