I was going to have a run today but I've binned the idea now - not my idea of fun in howling gales with horizontal hail and no sign of let up this morning. :-p

Circuits tonight instead and run tomorrow.

Sleet here :-( I need to pop over to Morrisons, then go and see mum, but then I'm going to hunker down with the dog on the sofa :-) I have to go out tonight to oversee the draw for our VLM club places, but even if my foot was fine I couldn't imagine running in this miserable weather.

Oh photoset, that was a a shock, & sad but again, its good that you were both with your Mil. Wishing you all strength to cope. Again, I like your second news, update us later :-)
It’s so cold I couldn’t face getting off my bike to shop on the way back from swimming, & the seat would have got wet & that would have finished me off. However, todays fetchbug was at the end of a pier & the view of cloud rolling down cliffs made my day :-) I’ll walk briskly back to shop after another ☕️ .

That sounds very traumatic Phil, have some virtual hugs and I’m sorry for your family’s loss (())

Migraine getting worse here so no workout. However, good (sort of) news from the dr. He thinks the pill is what is causing the migraines and has switched me to the mini-pill which is what I wanted in the first place. It is safer for a lady of my advancing years and shouldn't cause migraines though not as good at managing menstruation.

I'm sorry Phil, that must have been really wful for all of you. I hope you’re ok.
I hope the proposal is accepted too, how exciting :)

Did you manage the squeeze the difficult conversation in Ymee?

Hugs for Daisy and RH and ITG bighug and anyone else in need.

Might run to the gym. Rest is not improving the kneeggle so I might as well try plan B (ignore it and hope it goes away).

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
