I cycled to my strengthening class. I've lost one of my cycling gloves so wore some old sailing ones instead. They were fine, except the thumb and index fingers are 'fingerless' IYSWIM and by the time I got to the class I was nearly crying with the pain from frozen digits There was a sort of 'snow-grain' falling when I set off and I did consider taking the car, but a) it's only a couple of miles and I didn't realise quite how cold exposed skin would get and b) I need the exercise. Thank heavens when I came to cycle home the temperature seemed to have come up a degree and it wasn't so uncomfortable! I need to put winter cycling gloves on my list for Santa

Evening all
Am feeling a tad under weather with the sniffs and sore throat. Not enough to class myself as ill but not right either (no.comments).
Been on turbo tonight but zwift kept dropping off and ended up giving up.
I will return to running club this week as I won't run around village now in the dark- most off the street lights have been switched off and it's too dark 😫

Evening, everyone - gl, Mrs MB and hope everyone's niggles and Daisy's hypothermia ease up.
No running in the daytime (as I had a luvvie-ing for accountants course - with RADA, daahling! - all day) so six soggy, be-layered miles tonight. Over the weekend lurgy but still feeling lethargic - probably just need a nap.

Hope you get your run in MB, good luck tomorrow to Mrs MB xx Ran to yoga and back, the way people look at you when you say you’ve run to the gym is comical. Even my running friend said ‘but it’s dark outside!’ Lol

Doogs - was that course designed to make accountants more cuddly?
Flu jab in Wales varies according to age group, apparently. The older age groups get an "immune booster" along with theirs. This may account for the fact that in the early evening I got all sneezy and coughy and snuffly. Didn't feel like a cold, and has more-or-less passed off, so perhaps it was just my immune system reacting.
Vibe cycle class as lively and energetic as ever.

Ah, I wondered about Scotland (when the nurse said "It's a Welsh Assembly thing").
