Mooring. Gosh yesterday was busy on here. Just caught up. Horrible for little tri-boy, ITG.

Please can you add me as a buddy Helegant.

[Just so others here know - you can add someone as a buddy which means they can see your buddies only posts - but the other person has to add you to see theirs.]

heart you lot.

Please buddy me Helegant, ta

I need to make my kids do some exercise today particularly as ds2’s tennis camp is cancelled. Chances of dragging Ds1 out with DOMS might be low though, maybe swimming might help him?

I could do with a swim but the lake's too cold for me now and my usual pool which has been shut since July keeps having its reopening date pushed back :-(

alternating stupidly early mornings with broken sleep + lie-ins, this is not going to be helpful when we go back to school next week :(

Morning. Busy days and a self-imposed ban on social media after 9pm mean I’m really getting behind on here!

Helegant - please could you buddy me?

Appointment at 2pm with teacher. Last night another mum wrote to me (and one other) about the issue. She is equally upset. Their kids are the 2 that left the group.

We have cunning plan to get them to play the Game of Thrones theme (2 violinists and a guitar) and knock the others out of the park at the school show. K is very excited about the idea ☺

Excellent problem solving ITG keep at it I hope the school responds appropriately

I really want to go for a run. But it’s too late to train up for Butser and I suspect I’d be better trying to let my foot recover *grumbles* so I’ll go to work instead *grumbles louder*.
C9 has sprained wrist but is happy she is off shopping with my sister today

[ITG - I’m impressed your son was able to talk to you about this, I would never have done when that age]

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
