Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Morning :-)

Out on the bike shortly, was hoping to do xc tomorrow, but calf is still tight, so may settle for a gentle bimble around the woods instead

No running today, looking after Eli. Son1 is at work.

If he wasn't here I would be doing XC with the club - never mind. I think I might have to miss a few runs/races this year due to childcare duties.

I'll do my LSR tomorrow when Son1 is here.

I love going to the cinema with OH or friends, but I'm also happy to go on my own. I like films that OH wouldn't be interested in so sometimes I go when he's out on a Sunday afternoon.

I’ve seen it once and would happily go again. When I went most of the audience were without kids and way into their 60s :)

I think today will be shorter run day, I got up a bit late. Longer run can be tomorrow.

Morning. Now qualified to climb up wind turbines, and Kendal was nice but it was disappointing to be there during the winter due to the lack of sun light but hey ho.

Next week is a mixture of kent and essex now.

Run later but loads to be getting on with this weekend.

My neck of the woods then Andy - planet thanet or the marshes?

Been having a one way fight with airline over compensation due to 7.5 hrs delay and they were ignoring me. Have given them a bit of a battering over social media over the last couple of weeks (they have blocked me on FB) and just checked bank account and they have paid 😁

Van in for MOT at moment and that needs to pass and we can then decide if we will keep or sell and upgrade!

Whoop whoop just heard it has passed.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
