I was wondering if the Grizzlies had been eaten by a bear.
4 miles round town this evening. I can breathe and I'm feeling like I can run without walking breaks for the first time in ages. And my last mile was really bloody fast for me! My mileage is going to look a lot less tragic soon :)

Thanks folks. Really pleased as unexpected pouring rain half way through. And you know the trouble I'm having with blisters. Right foot appears unscathed. Can't say the same for left foot :(

Hope grizzly people are ok and recovering well.

Hope tomorrow's a better day Seren.

Have been reunited with cutlery so away to devour my body weight in food!!

Excellent long running LG! bunting

1/2 marathon went well today, 5 mins faster than the same course last year, pretty pleased with that. :-)

Back from the Grizzly with a grin on my face. Will probably do a rare blog later/tomorrow.

Think Beachy with fewer miles, but more hills, a LOT more mud, 3-4 water obstacles, 2 1/2mile runs along shingle beach and a bog with mud up to my knees (i.e Linds' thighs ;-) ) Brutal, very friendly and an absolute must for anyone who can next year.

Sadly didn't see FP, but hope he had as good a time as I did.

Excellent running all round this weekend. Well done the PB'ers and pr'ers bunting

More hills than Beachy! Love the sound of the bog though...

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Happy running :-)
