The only time I've driven a boat was a little one on the Norfolk Broads. I was OK until it came to trying to park the damn thing, I'd need a lot more practice before boating became good for my soul!

Sounds lovely, TeeBee. Thanks for the info on the lady. She sounds lovely.

Glastonbury used to be mine, Dipps. Now I guess it's running in nice places. Or camping if it doesn't rain.

Shuffled to the station this morning, and then to work at the other end. 3.5 miles in total. Legs were tired from last night's hills, and I also had a tight shoulder. Must have slept funny.

I've never been to the Lake District. I've mentioned it before (en famille) but nobody else has been interested. In fact they've been actively disinterested, and would prefer somewhere with sunshine and beaches.

I'd love to go back. Wish I'd kept my childhood cotton anorak, used to buy sew on badges for every mountain I'd walked up, it was more badge than coat.

RA is that too busy or too tired? Hopefully bit of a rest is good.
Another one for camping in U.K. if it's not raining. These days I can select good weather windows at short notice

I've never been on a canal boat!
Made it to Rebound by the skin of my teeth, basically waited for a pause in the meeting and literally ran back to the car carrying my handbag, no easy feat when it's a very big heavy handbag and I had to run over Cathedral Hill!
Still need a proper run but no idea when my guests are arriving.

I did another pee-work run this morning, wondering whether I'd bump into you.

NSC, that wasn't me you saw on Tuesday, I'm afraid.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Happy running :-)
