pee-work run, Dio? That's a new one. I understand you can get physio for that (but I'm not sure if it works for me.)

Long run done. 3:1 run:walk. 2 hours 20 mins.
I think I've only once been to the Lake District; youth-hostelling holiday with my Best Friend, in our teens (can't remember exactly when, but likely late 50s or very early 60s). That was the holiday when we discovered peanut butter, and Kendal mint cake, and I got stung by a bee.

And I was going to say I hadn't been on a canal boat, but then I remembered Eldest Son organised one of his birthday parties on one.

Oh actually my end of 6th form party was on a canal boat (much better than a stupid prom) but I've never been on a canal boat holiday

Off for a run in no before bedlam starts again when pasterers arrive

I'm going to cause waves of aghastness now OH and I went camping in the Lakes when we first started going out together. It rained a very great deal and admitting to each other that actually, we found the whole area far too bleak and dispiriting, and we'd rather go home, was when we first felt we might have a future together :-). We have never felt the need to go back.
I just need to be able to see the sea, really. Pretty much any sea will do but I love taking Floss out for her bedtime stroll in Sidmouth in the winter, and seeing the moon reflected in the water as we walk along a deserted prom.

LD having lived on the coast all my life I can't ever imagine not living by the sea.
The beach is my place to go when i need to think and reflect.

Lol LD! I disliked the Lakes on my first visit, I can't really remember why and it was years til we went back and I wasn't keen to go. I found I loved it second time around, I now love seeing the mountains there as a contrast to living in Norfolk. That being said I love the coast too MM and love visiting the Norfolk and Suffolk coast when I get the chance. I think we need several Fetchie communes around the country to meet our needs for different landscapes!

Oh nearly forgot - my Red Venom MOTM kit arrived today! Thank you again if you voted for me. Looking forward to trying it out, as I've never used compression stuff before.

How exciting.
Just back from a very warm 4 mile run. Dripping everywhere but times are gradually getting better
