Here too, which somewhat ruined the end of term school staff BBQ. Always wondered what they would be like and scared myself by realising how young most of the staff are!
Teachers are always supposed to be older than you, right? Some are younger than my older kids - Aargh!
Farewell lunch at work tomorrow, then manic packing and off to the Lake District to camp in the rain on Friday for a week. Hills will be climbed and trails cycled, regardless.
Well done on the house Fleecy, though I would have thought going back 50 years would be counter-culture for you

Huge thunderstorm here - the thunder is incredibly loud and the rain just mental. Everyone local is awake and on Facebook.
I just had to go out in it because my chickens are stupid.

The chickens have taken to roosting on the roof of the coop, rather than inside it. I think they might have now forgotten how to get in, as there were three wet and scared birds on the roof of the coop when I checked during the storm so I had to dash out, take them off the roof, and put them inside. Silly birds.
