Morning all
Storms seem to have missed our corner last night, few flashes, couple of drops of rain but that was it. Really warm here already but it's my day off so happy with that. Quick BC meeting to attend, kitchen floor needs a quick clean (but not much as plasterer coming back tomorrow to finish) then i may settle in the garden for a chill and read.

Morning
Chickens are stupid
CStar - whereabouts are you camping? Am taking youngest up on Monday for 4 or 5 nights. We're nr Calbeck - for easy access to visit daughter in Carlisle. ..... and yes teachers are very young - not much younger than my eldest. On "mufti" days I sometimes struggle to tell the difference btwn young teachers and our Yr8s.

lol at Carp's bird.
I saw my xfit coach who gave me some back exercises. I'm of the entirely unscientific opinion that I screwed everything up by ONLY running for 12 months so that I've got strong legs but no strength above the hips. I cannot even plank for more than 30 seconds or do a single proper push-up.
Anyway, please send Sharktopus over daily to make me do my stretches.

Also: I can live with youngish teachers; but I strongly object to doctors who still have acne.

Has anyone got experience of lumbar and shoulder support things? Xfit instructor suggested it could help me, especially while sitting at computer, to keep my shoulders back and my back straight. However, there are dozens on amazon, nearly all designed for men so the sizing is a bit of a mess (e.g. completely wrong waist and upper chest rations for women). The reviews are very mixed too. I don't even know where to look. I'm not averse to spending a few quid on this but I don't want to spend a lot of money for the wrong thing.
