I loved Copenhagen when I visited 9 years ago, LD. That will be a great event!

We're combining it with a few days away with friends. The husband of the other couple is both an architect and a massive fan of Scandi-noir so he's really excited about taking a trip over to Malmo on the Oresund bridge :-)

I've never been to anywhere in Scandinavia.

It was the club's Christmas lights run tonight. I was quite looking forward to it but got left behind again. :(

Yes I shall have to factor a parkrun in as well. Already excited :-)

AR that is very poor! Don't they do a 'loop back' so the faster runners have to come back and run in behind the tail-marker every mile or so? If not I think you should suggest it and feed back that leaving a runner behind, especially on a sociable run like that, is not on.

I tried asking a couple of times before and got told that they don't do that. They turned off at a corner and I thought that it was only the long route people who were going but everyone followed so I went on the other way on my own.

About This Thread

Maintained by iRan
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
