That article is good reading - I like his mantra of 'Get it done!'

Morning all, my exercise today will be some long overdue housework. Lots of bending and stretching :-)

Morning. Dull day of catching up with overdue household admin and waiting in for workmen. Might get a bike ride in later. Then first weekend without teens since I became single

LD - the information about the books is imported directly from Nielsen's book database. I'm afraid I have no control over the spelling or grammar of other companies.

Morning all, thanks for the offer Bint.

Hope those with colds/coughs/flu and other ailments are improving.

Has any got any motivation lying around they can send my way. I have a rare day off today (not there is anything to do around here) and know I should carry out some form of exercise but I have an underlying feeling of cba today. I should be doing some for revision for an exam I want to take as well, but so far this morning all I have done is stuffed face with bacon (shit american streaky variety so was very underwhelming) and watched episode 3 of the grand tour via amazon instead of anything useful :)

Morning 😃

l too cannot run smelly and i always where possible clean my teeth before a run
(The worst thing about this running game is standing at the start of a race next to someone who's a bit wiffy)

Worse for me than a B.O. runner being next to you and especially prevalent this time of the year was army PT when the silly season started to get going. Nothing worse than being in a squad running at the back with the youngsters who could still go out on the piss the night before being at the front. Queue an hour of running following the stale stench of last nights alcohol being sweated out from those in front of you.

Morning all :)

Thank you Bint :) books were the next things on my shopping list :)
(Santa brings pyjamas, a book, something silly/funny and chocolate to my lot each year now they're a bit old for toys - 'tis becoming a tradition)

I could do with some mojo too Andy - hope you find yours :)

Morning all.

It is very cold and I have to ride my bike later either to pick up the Camper Van (being resprayed) or if it is not ready, home. Brrrrrrr

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
