Columba, with printmaking there are lots of different techniques which means some come out the reverse of the original design. This is a lino print, so the original design is the actually same way as the print. First of all I design it, then I use tracing paper to copy it and a reverse print is put onto the lino which is then cut into.

Thanks Columba. I had no idea what that was. The joys of technology meant I just needed to press on the word on my phone and it looked it up on the internet.

Will look at Holland & Barrett when in town tomorrow.

Love the idea of a 700-er t shirt.

The convention (as followed in most cartoons etc.) is that left-to-right movement suggests onward progress whereas right-to-left suggests a return to the past. I don't know if this is something built into our perception, or if it's just because we write l-r (if the latter, maybe writers of r-l languages like Hebrew and Arabic have their cartoon characters going the opposite way).

The kit supplier I use for RR has a minimum order of 'garments' rather than particular type - cotton/technical/vest/shirt etc.

I would like! Isn't there a feng shui thing about having your elephants facing the door or something? So imagine t shirt will be fine as long as we sidle through doors at the right degree

T-shirt, technical for me :) Great idea.

I ran this morning, along the prom. I did over a mile out which must have been more like 3 as it was against the wind then back with a bit of wind assistance. :-o

Just back from lunch with OH. 16 miles cycled. I'm sure that balances out the fish and chips :)

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
