Hello all,

Happy Birthday pinktink

So, light run this morning done. But I've noticed a bit of a niggle on the inside of ankle and after a bit of Dr. Google I think it might be the tibias posterior that is playing up. Does that mean anything to anyone. From what I can gather it's not a good thing :(

The pain is only at the barely noticeable stage so I'm going to cancel tomorrows run and won't x-train and play it by ear. Anyone got any other advice?

In other news, my wife told me my race number turned up for the half next weekend.

I had to google this Andy, and what I saw said things like 'really quite rare' and 'only 26th on the list of runners' injuries'. Which is not to say that you haven't got it, but I wouldn't panic at this stage. A day or two's rest will do no harm this close to the Half. I hope it eases, anyway.

Hi LD, it's a new pain that's for sure which is why I turned to Dr. Google :) I hope you are right that it probably isn't, to be fair I am an optimist so sure I'm just worrying about nothing. Must be sensible :)

About This Thread

Maintained by iRan
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
