Couple of new cans this week. Chieftain Irish Pale Ale (5.2) by the Franciscan Well brewery in Cork and Little Fawn (4.2) by the White Hag brewing company. Little Fawn is very summery and went down well in the sunshine yesterday afternoon.

I've been a little remiss in keeping you all up to date:
58. Swicknels Superior Pilsner 5.3%
59. Two Chefs Decennium Falcon IPA 7.5%
60. Two Chefs Flat White Espresso Milk Stout 5% (an absolute corker!)
61. White Hag Smash IPA 4.8%
62. Hรฉrcules Session IPA 4%
63. Qajaq Munich Helles 4.4%
64. Lervig DDH West Coast IPA 6%
65. Dogma Dry Irish Stout 4.5%
66. Totenhopfen Cherry & Coconut Imperial Stout 7% (delicious, but I don't think I'd drink two in a session!)
67. Marz Coffee & Hazulnut Stout 5.8% (very flavourful)
68. Varvar Oak Aged Vanilla & Chocolate Porter 5.5% (this is a genuine find - I foresee there being much more of this in my future!)

I think I'm up to date now :)

A trip to a mexican fast food place over the weekend, and I've managed to get enough to split out bottles from cans.

31. (bottle) Pacifico Clara (4.5%)

(You can't see it here, but I've also removed an errant cider from my list of cans.)

I expect I'll reach 50 bottles by the end of the year, but my cans are only at 18. Never say never, but I don't expect to collect the full set this year.

I know I've already more than topped out my draught list, but I had a pint of verdantbrewing.co this evening, and it bears repeating (I've had a couple of there beers in the Black Cat and further afield, and they've always been worth it).

Tried one that's been on my wish list for a while, Tynt Meadow, a UK Trappist beer. It didn't disappoint!

Tynt Meadow is beautiful. Defo well up there with my all time favourites, if not vying for the top spot. Brewed a mere stones throw throw away too.

Keller Pils (Lost and Grounded), 164 mph (DIPA) (Sureshot); Tony's Hopolonely (milkshake IPA) Brewdog). A visit to Brewdog Stirling.

I also have a dozenish from Lidl's Scottish Beer Festival to sample. I suspect I've missed logging some from the last one and also from my Flavourly box.

About This Thread

and here we are in 2024....

I still really like a pint.

I think this is not too controversial health wise. Lots of beers about these days. I interpret it as different beers within 2023, and you can, if you like; avoid beers you have had before, but as ever the list is yours to do what you like.
