I’m over 45 and trying to run more miles this year than ever before. So many different approaches.

I’m with CW at Mhd HM tomorrow. Game on!

Over 58 here and aiming to tweak my mileage up a little bit for my autumn marathon this year. I get most pleasure from my longer runs so my objective is to make them comfier by doing more of them.

As you say WW, an infinite number of approaches. Hope you find a way to get the fun back Chrisull.

Best wishes for Mhead tomorrow guys - 2 of my running buddies are wearing their first England vests there as F65-70’s.

Over 50 myself. August has been my lowest mileage month for nearly 2 years, but my highest walking mileage. Think I'm on track for 2000miles though if the rest of the year doesn't throw any surprises at me

Really surprised with a 1:28:41 at Maidenhead Half today. Much better than I’d hoped for!

It's patient build up for me and hope to be back to where I was a couple of years ago before next Spring. Have lost pace which I'm working on but don't want to stress the hip replacement too much.

Great to hear your progress torey and long may it continue. You’ve been patient, which is something all runners need to be, let alone post-hip op. I happen to have a bottle of champagne open next to me, so here’s good health to you🥂
