Marathon training is having me surging ahead of the 2000 target. Currently on 1910, so should hit 2000 before the Abingdon taper starts. Even with a few easy weeks after Abingdon, the 2400 looks good to be hit as well

I am well over target so far, but I'll be training less when the taper starts and after Amsterdam. Should be comfortably over 2k by the end of the year. I passed my 2008 mileage today with over three months of the year to go

A well earned cutback week starting today. I've run 518 miles in the last 8 weeks of marathon training, without a cutback week.

I hit my 2000 mile target today, does that mean no more running this year?

whilst I said I was going for this at the beginning of the year my real goal was 3000, 300 less than last year - 250 a month (i decided to do 275 in Jan to leave me 225 in Feb as it's a short month) 8 days into Feb & i got injured & havent been the same since - I'll make 2000 but 2500 is beyond me.
