I have run and managed 8 miles, which is the furthest I've run since my foot decided to throw a painful wobbly at the beginning of November. Still a few twinges and the last mile was hard, but pleased with the distance. Sad that I'm missing today's marathon around Foxy's lake in Milton Keynes, but Mr JK is running a half marathon, and there could be a VM60 prize in it for him, which would mean he might bring home a turkey.

westmoors Dec 2019 2:16pm, 8 Dec 2019 3,656 posts	0 westmoors Christmas 10K done this morning. Had hoped to be quicker than the 10K I ran a couple of weeks ago as this is flatter, but the strong winds meant that I finished 1 second slower

The weather wasn't brilliant but some nice days and always much warmer than home. completed the marathon in 4:45 - pleased with that but I am well on my way to losing my first big toenail!
