Hello All!

Glorious sunshine here in the East Mids. Been for a lovely canalside walk with Mr JK and there was coffee and cake.

I have cut the grass which was getting a bit meadow-like.

Having a few days off running as my left knee is niggling again (I think some concentrated weed removal over the last few days has set that off), but planning on some parkrun tourism to Cheltenham at the weekend.

That was my mistake today...I'll have a rest day today (aside from walking home from the station) and remember to run early for the foreseeable future! :)

Tres to retire at the end of the season. Very fond memories of him as an England opener. Aggressive yet tempered with patience. Yes he wobbled outside off occasionally, but worth it to see some of his glorious shots. Ahh, how we could do with an opener like him now

had mid week road race league last night 10k - just on the road - was quite hard work - I was happy it was not any hotter (else I would have gone for a river swim...). Happily I finished without injury, some way off pb fitness but time was ok for me, seems there were several other fetchies there - one finished immediately behind me after a nice finish line sprint. Think i will stick to cycling now until Herts hobble... Enjoy the sun everyone.
