Good luck with the marathon training Doc. Managed a run around the Orme this morning with Mrs Bonners, very misty and otherworldly this morning. Managing to run, but still taking it steady.

Well done on getting out there, people. OH went for a run in the rain and came back after a couple of miles because he couldn't see out of his glasses.

Excitement in the JK Towers estate grounds this afternoon, when a sparrowhawk helped itself to a blackbird for an early Christmas dinner. Don't often get that much proper nature in our back garden.

Nice work Foxy! bunting

And nice new shoes Doc! :-)

Good luck with the marathon training Doc. Mr J will be starting his training soon too.

My run this morning took me to 1712 miles for the year - 2 miles more than last year, and my second-highest mileage year to date. I need about another 20 miles to break my highest-ever mileage of 2016, which should be doable with the remaining runs I have planned.

JK - sounds a bit too close to the action for me - I'd be distressed enough seeing that on a David Attenborough programme, never mind in the back garden.
