Jono.
morning Fetchlings - 10 miles this morning, I felt full of energy and seemed to have benefited from last weeks LSR.
averaged 9.23 a mile, which is quite fast for me - normal plodding will be resumed on Tuesday.
Have a restful Sunday.

Flatlander
I had to cycle to collect an item yesterday afternoon. I set off in the dry, 2 minutes later very heavy rain arrived and I got drenched. I got home an hour later and two minutes afterwards the rain stopped! ;-/
This morning, before dawn, I went for a run while it was still dry. It's a good job I took my new waterproof coat with me just in case, because half way through, drizzle arrived which got steadily heavier and heavier. It was a good test for the coat - it passed
I thoroughly enjoyed the run in the dark and rain, even the stretches over farm trails which were "a bit wet" I do like running at that time of morning/night/dark
That has brought me to 1,000 miles for the year, which 3 months ago looked highly unlikely, but my ill fated but entertaining 5 weeks marathon training plan helped to get me there

It's always good to test out a waterproof jacket to find out just how waterproof it is! I tested mine out one day at work at lunchtime after leaving the office and the skies opened and it poured heavily for 10 minutes. Everyone else was running for cover but I just walked up the hill to the library and was dry.

Glad we're mostly avoiding rain and jonos feeling quick.
14 trail miles with my new club (sub) group today to make a 54 mile week. Big roast at my fav local pub, shouting at Everton on the telly after.

Last marathons of the year completed today at Phoenix running remembrance marathon WW1 special and the race was stopped at 11 by marshals for 2 mins silence before we all commenced again, 400 runners in total running in this special event so honoured to have be part of it. The medal was just stand huge, I needed a crane to get it back home lol 😂😱😱😱😨😨🤣🤣🤣
What a way to end the marathons in 2018, it has been an emotional rollercoaster 🎢 for sure and wondered if I can do one let alone 10 for the year but I have done it against all the odds through at me through bereavement and stressful time at work, thanks for all your support, means a lot xxxxxx
