Happy Monday, Everybody!

I have run 6 and a bit miles and didn't get lost. (Along with some local running chums, I've been using an app called City Strides, which shows you your own locality with all the streets marked on it, and you try to run along all of them - they are then shown in purple. It's a bit addictive. And some of the local estates are very confusing and maze-like, with lots of dead-ends.)

Also did some walking around the city centre, and now have some new running socks. Surprisingly, the best socks I have ever had for running were quite cheap ones from Gap, but they have stopped selling them so I have been looking out for others. I don't think they'll ever be as good though. I've bought several pairs - the M & S ones are looking most similar.

Thanks for the round up JK. Very interesting creatures. I would need some magic to meet 1500 miles now, but that's OK. My new likely annual mileage will be closer to 500 than 1500! Cheerio chaps and chapesses! :-) G

Too bad you didn't know me last year Stu! I had Funky with me for a couple of months then handed him over to the Jigses in July on a Thames Bridges run.
