Didn't fancy parkrun this morning. My usual one was cancelled because of another event in the park and my alternative one is a 3 lap hilly nightmare! Went for a steady longer one instead. Just had pizza for lunch, hope that's allowed

Oh yes have fun at Kimbolton 1500ers! Surprised myself with a 23:30 parkrun this morning after waking up disorientated and not knowing where or when I was, and a 3 mile jog there. |

I have parkrunned, and am very pleased that I ran my 2nd fastest parkrun time this year. It clearly helps when you drive to the venue rather than run there. Mr JK had to wait at home for the arrival of a plumber, as our shower only wants to let us have bracing cold water at the moment. Plumber arrived quite early, so Mr JK dashed to parkrun, started late, overtook most of the field and managed to finish in 26 mins. He gave me an update on the plumbing situation as he hurtled past me. I think we need a new shower. Getting very excited about Kimbolton tomorrow! I shall wear my Fetch t-shirt and hope we'll be able to find everybody else. |

Can't be much help, afraid we know absolutely nothing about the area, MrsJ - I'm still not totally clear on exactly where Kimbolton is, apart from our journey there involving the A14. Google shows 2 cafes (both closed on Sundays) and a pub, The New Sun Inn https://www.newsuninn.co.uk/contact. Grafham Water doesn't seem too far away and has 2 cafés. anglianwaterparks.co.uk |
