Sounds like fun Stu - though me running in the Surrey Hills in the dark is a recipe for major injury!!

Greetings from Chilly Cleethorpes! No running today, drove North to do a bit of running. On our drive up here, we stopped for lunch at a big garden centre near Lincoln and they had SHOP CHICKENS! Just wandering about - so cool. Every shop should have shop chickens.

Wild! I had a rather brisk run in this morning. I really should have found my gloves before leaving home instead of stuffing my hands up my sleeves!

What a lovely photo Jabber. Tesco has shop chickens.

Dare we ask what the non-mouse was, WW?
I was standing right by the bird food, I think the chicken was dropping some subtle hints that I didn't pick up on.

Evidence suggests it was a blue tit from the one wing feather I found.
No body though so keeping a keen eye out for a partially scalped blue tit.
