No running for me today, just opening hundreds of bottles of water and handing them to the BMF half and full marathon runners.

Afternoon All! Ta for the good anniversary wishes, and well done weekend runners! Hope Funky behaves in wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen. Back home from Yorkshire where I didn't run the marathon, but was a brave little soldier and didn't howl and sob pathetically. However, did offer wifely support OH doing the 10 miler - he did splendidly, just over 71mins, a PB and another county gold standard time. Chicken and ham pie for tea, cooked for us by DD2, who is an excellent cook, so looking forward to that. |

Ta, Doc! And a quick correction, OH's time was in fact 70:49 so actually just under 71 mins, and he came 165th out of 3,177 and first in his age cat. Woohoo, go rjb, go!

Bournemouth Marathon completed today in a hot and stupidly sunny day in October! With little preparation or regular running a time of 5:00:30 is something i’ll take with both hands the only thing I would moan at myself able it is that there was far too much walking but what’s done is done! |

I also say yes, go for it, WW - all you'll need is a hairbrush, a good pair of scissors and some facepaints.

I've been in a 10 mile race with rjb. He's a fast. I saw him go off at the start and never saw him again.
