Oh, I've just gone over 5,000 Fetch miles.

I quite fancy a cheese sarnie! Toasted.

Well done, StuH. How did the band do, DocM? I like cheese on toast.

No running today, but have done a lot of painting (rolling paint on to walls, not proper artistic stuff). My old-lady-arthritical thumb joints are complaining now.

Chicken soup for tea, made with the remains of yesterday's chicken. It smells good.

Ventured out for a recovery walk, legs aren't complaining *too* much. Got mrK some cherry chocolates to say thank you for his support yesterday.
Here's the lovely medal and me *before* the mud!

Well done, MzG - is there a post-mud pic for comparison?

Only of my trainers! It was raining heavily at the finish so we didn't want to hang around too long.

Thanks :-)

Glad they played well anyway!

Impressive mud on the shoes, MzG - did the rain wash the front ends of them for you?

Yes I think it did JK, the rain was pelting down the bridge so probably washed over them. The marshals were still cheerful, even the chap at 400m turn hadn't got a brolly! The mud also soaked through to the inside. Considering whether to wash in a bucket or risk the washing machine.
Doc - did you make it through the prize giving?
