Given your history on here, Jono, you're more likely to become an indecent cyclist.
(If you're going to leave posts like that lying about you'v e got to expect the likes of me to come along and make this sort of comment.;-))

I hope I never become a cyclist .... I hate cycling. Hubby however has always been a cyclist and hated running, but has now started parkrunning ..... it's a topsy turvey world

I bought a bicycle when I first started losing weight, intending to ride it into work, but I found the traffic too terrifying, so gave up and walked in instead. Some of those drivers really dislike cyclists, don't they?! Or don't notice them because they're too busy texting.
Hello all! Ran this morning, and will be out again with the club for a short run this evening if I can prise myself off this rather comfortable couch. I think the weekend's marathons caught up with me this afternoon, and I felt a bit shattered, so was forced to have some ice-cream to help me recover.
In other news, I have volunteered to be part of another study of knees, and osteoporosis this time, which might involve some daily hopping, but I'm waiting to hear back from the doc who's doing the study. Not sure whether the running might preclude me from it.
Soup for tea.

Fenland (Fenners) Runner
When I first left sixth form and started work, train/cycling was part of my commute to work, until I got my first car. So from an early age until 19 I cycled a good deal. Then started static bike cycling in June last year.
Cycling is nowhere near as good as running and (just for Gobi!!) not as good as swimming but it is definitely third in individual sporting activities for me.

I always viewed cycling as a means of transport rather than for fun!
Another 6 miles run tonight. 3 miles were meant to be at a pace slightly faster than my goal half marathon pace, but I couldn't get anywhere close! Oh well, just have to hope the adrenaline kicks in on the day
