Good luck for tomorrow Andy & Fenners and all others racing this weekend.

4 miles this morning for me and a couple more runs over the weekend. Monday will be a rest day for me and then hopefully back into my normal running routine as of Tuesday after this weeks need to streak run (Thurs - Sun).

Should be over the 500 mile mark come the weekend so feels good to be on target at this point of the year long may it continue. Have Bracknell Half Marathon on the 7th and a little undecided on what time to aim for. I don't view it as a PB course but wondering if I should go out with the 1:50 pacers and see if I can complete it in 1:40 something and make it 3 sub 1:50 half's to start the year!

Then the weekends will be taken up with training for the Ultra in August. I have made the decision that I am not actively going to change my week day running routine at all. A couple of short runs and a track session during the week will be enough. But i do need to concentrate on making the weekends a focus on developing the long runs and my ability to cope with them!

Good Afternoon. Gosh, where is this year going? We seem to be racing through it! (Did you like what I did there?) Almost time for this month's roundup, isn't iti

Have excellent races/runs over the Bank Holiday weekend, people, especially those running very long. I'll be in Milton Keynes on Monday, looking forward to seeing what a Fetchpoint looks like. Might even bump into Richard-M1?

I am very proud of myself for being over-the-top sensible and having yet another rest day, though with a bit of walking.

Friday night curry this evening.
