I will. Beginning to think North Dorset might just be a "get round" rather than trying for a target.

Ran 20M easy pace this am - felt good, then had beef+ale pie for lunch - this pie was all pastry - like a pillow of puff pastry with the middle cut our and stuffed to overflowing with beef & ale gravy - very nice better than 'Pot'
Well done on your ultra Carolyn!

Doc on top forum posting.
We ran this morning not sure who long think it was 8 miles. Rather warm in the Northamptons.
I normally get 1000 miles plus out of my shoos but looking at the sole today have binned them with only 1001 miles.

Well done Carolyn, and hope the knee clears up soon, westmoors. Some good running being reported here. Well done on your PB, Pikelet, lovely running!
I had a go at the Oakley 20 near Bedford, and forgot to take my bloody watch, so was quite cross with myself, as I'm useless at identifying what kind of pace I'm doing. Was OK till about 15 miles in, but then lost the plot along with the effective and efficient use of my legs. So, a personal worst for this distance, and have decided it's not a distance I want to do very often - if I'm going to run that far, I might as well do the other 6 for a full marathon. Anyway, a good race, well organised and well marshalled, although the hoody is a rather custardy yellow (it said 'gold' on the boxes!).
Came home to some delish hot pork and salad sandwiches, courtesy of OH.
