Garfield, I feel another pie poll.
What is a pie?
Is a Cornish pasty a pie?
It's a real dilemma. I'm still unsettled not knowing the difference between a ship and a boat.

Shepherds pie.
No base or top.
Melt down!

I now quite fancy eating a pie, or a pasty, or some shepherd's pie. Or all three. Don't often make shepherd's pie, because OH isn't keen on mashed potato. This continually surprises me - how can anyone not like mashed potato? He's fine with potatoes cooked in just about any other way.

I have voted, and would also now like some pie. Garfield raises an interesting point, but I think there's a difference between things you wouldn't expect to have a top/base (lemon meringue pie, shepherd's pie), and, for instance, ordering a steak pie in a pub or restaurant and being served some meat and gravy with a piece of pastry on top
Cornish pasty? Not a pie in my book.
In non-pie related news, I managed to squeeze a lunchtime run in, and got rained on. A lot

Course you can, Jono. You could have OH's share. I'd make him eat a salad.
