I struggle between miles 2 and 26 on a marathon.

Rain also arrived in the east, east Northamptons.

Yep, while I was in the bath, the rain hit the Fens. Got to run during the best weather of today by the look of things

Jono.
Yep miles 15 - 19/20 are bastards.

Went for a run this morning, didn't fit one in yesterday due to Mrs J and molly J's cavorting.

I'm always amazed at how my arms sweat in warmer climes - suns out / guns out.

7 something miles this morning.

In my single marathon it was miles 15-20 that got me, partly cos that part of the course I saw barely a soul except the odd broken down runner !

Washing has been brought in and ironed just as the rain arrived.

Mile 18 is The Bastard Mile. Hit it and you still have eight of the fucking things to go. Once it's over and you're into Mile 19 you can set yourself up for the run home and begin fantasising about removing your shoes and socks and curling up in some long grass somewhere and having a long drink and...

Sorry, drifted off there.

Marathon tomorrow. I'm not thinking about Mile 18 at all.

Went too fast from 13-18 in my last marathon so I find these miles difficult. I think it's a real no man's land of the marathon.
