Easy 4 miles done this morning...same again or 5 miles tomorrow. Slowly building back up after my temperamental carcass decided to act up for a couple of months.:( Next Friday will be 21 miles walking in the Peak District...Bamford to Edale and back again. I'm looking forward to a change of scenery.

Brick session orientated towards running.
10 miles 10 miles
Under fuelled on the run and bonked with just over a mile to go. Fortunately nature came to my rescue and after a handful of blackberries continued on my way.

Porkpie, all! Ran to parkrun, did a bit of timekeeping, then ran home, about 8 miles total. It got a bit chilly in the wind on the park, cold to stand around in, but good for running.
Have a good weekend, everyone!

It's a bit 'moist' over here in South Yorkshire,
parkrunned this morning, checked the ladies points table after the results were up and I'm now top of the table by 1 point!
I'm liking the pom pom making and pie eating suggestions as replacements for marathons. FR is right though, if only it didn't feel so good when you've got that medal round your neck! The 22 mile 'why, oh why' lamenting never lasts when you're over the finish line!

I think I'm a bit weird, as even though post-20 in a marathon is undoubtedly tough, I think it's 15-19 I really struggle with (more psychologically than physically).
Did a rainy parkrun, followed by an even more rainy C25K session this morning. We have a bookcase to assemble, then off to a friend's surprise party this evening
Well done on topping the points table Pikelet!

I love miles 15-19, they are normally the calm before the storm

Well done, Pikelet!
I agree with jennyh, the miles between 15-20 are often the worst for me in a mara, but once I'm into the 20s, I find it's easier psychologically - I can tell myself it's just a 10k to do.
The rain has now arrived in our little corner of the E Midlands. No need to water the tomatoes today!
