Hi everyone! Best of luck to everyone racing this weekend, sorry Monkey can't be with everybody, but hope he enjoys his trip abroad, whether to Holland or Germany (I'm sure the pilot will know where to go, Mrs Jigs). He's getting about a bit, isn't he? No allowing him any drugs, people, who knows where poo could be flung by a spaced-out monkey. Are you marathoning this weekend, jennyh?

Just back in from a gentle 5 miler in wind, sun, rain and hail, though not necessarily in that order. Foot blister healing nicely, most DOMS from the Welsh mud'n'hills at the weekend gone, dodgy right quad still a bit dodgy, but definitely less dodgy than it was. Hooray! Might even treat myself to some new shoes, to get them broken in for the Comrades.

Scallops for Posh Fish Wednesday tea.

Has he started carb-loading for Rotterdam yet Mrs J?

JK, yes I am indeed marathoning, first one in two years so starting to feel a bit nervous now. Glad you seem to be recovering from the weekend. Sticking with the same shoes or trying something new?

Because I tend to focus on reading the posts and don't think to look at the sidebar like a sensible person might, Huntsman.
Good luck, jennyh.
Hope Monkey's behaving himself, Mrs Jigs. Don't let him eat all the bananas!
