Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
Gade Valley 20 mile training run was harder than I expected, I ran out of energy at 12 miles and as Jigs passed me having done the 3 mile loop he was on 15+ miles, I was walking managed to get going again but decided to miss out the loop and be content with 17 miles, I hope my energy levels improve soon.

On the plus side it's a well organised training run, well marshalled, plenty of cake and coffee after, all for a fiver!

Fizz :-)
Sorry to hear that, MrsJ.
I smashed my 20 mile PB today at Ashby, but that's because it was my first race at that distance. Very pleased with a roughly 10 minute negative split, and a Garmin time of 3:33:33 (official time 3:33:38). The only problem being I have failed with my secondary objective of giving myself a nice soft PB to beat at the Oakley 20 in a fortnight.

Great run Fizz! Well done
Sorry to hear you didn't manage to get a place at Stanwick Doc, it always fills up though.

Well done Fizz and FR! An hour off you PB?! Wow, smashed doesn't come close!
I ran the furthest I ever have again today (2 miles further than intended too). One more long long run to go, but I think I'm done upping the distance! It was hard, but the worst was the hour or so after!

Just under 20 miles done in 3:32 including a poo break at the sports centre at 13 miles. I lost a certain urgency to get home after that and dawdled the rest of the way.
