Well done Monkey (and Ron). Jono, it's not gravy but liquor (not the alcoholic variety, but usually parsley based), an East End delicacy :-).

I'm afraid green gravy just doesn't look right on a pie.

Tonight's pie was a piri piri chicken pie recipe of Nigel Slater. Incredibly simply and tasted fantastic.
Well done Ron and Funky Monkey.

Well done Ron and Monkey!
Very impressive looking pie Wobbler.
Flatlander, MrJ and I keep saying we need to go to a proper pie and mash shop when we're next in London - I'm assuming the liquor tastes better than it looks, right?
