Shadow, I haven't experienced Virgin's wifi, but I know First Great Western's (or Great Western Railway as they've now rebranded themselves) is pants.

Commute to work usually involves bus, walking, running or some combination thereof (it's only about 3.5 miles, though I can make it longer if I run a different route). Have recently passed my driving test, having never bothered learning when I was younger, but have to negotiate with Mr J for access to the car.

Wow, everyone's out early running today! Congrats on the driving test, jennyh. Hope you are over the banana poisoning, Mrs Jigs, perhaps best to avoid them in future.

A very damp 10 miles done this morning, in an unpleasant persistent drizzle rather than actual rain.

Posh Fish Wednesday - we're planning a fish chowder if we can get all the ingredients listed in the recipe.

Thanks WW, I've been planting the seed of working locally 4 days a week then coming up to London only once a week...

Jono.
its a good seed to plant G

I'm on my jollies at the moment, but still checking in an updating my monthly reports - I'm proving that I only really need to be in work 3 days a week :-)

molly j had her 1st driving lesson yesterday Jen - no members of the public were harmed and she seemed to enjoy it, along with the normal paranoia of whats coming next - the instructor said he might let her drive home next time!

pleasant visit to mom's yesterday - Molly J was saved from the trauma of Wolverhampton town centre after her nan branded it a dump and we went to a nearby pub / restaurant for lunch - I had sea bass.

went for an 8 mile jogette this morning, nothing happened out of the ordinary and the weather has returned to its normal damp cold shitty state up here on the peninsula.

me and molly j are going out for tea later in town - yesterday I learned that Aardvarks and cats are closely related.

Thanks JK.

How did Molly J find her first lesson Jono? I was absolutely terrified on mine (and the second, third etc. 😱)

Good cat/aardvark fact.

Forgot to say, bad news about the banana poisoning Mrs J, glad your feeling a bit better today.

she has taken it in her stride Jen - I think its better to learn stuff when your young, mind you I didn't learn to drive until 1993.

I think you're right Jono, I think you're less likely to overthink it when you're young.

Totally agree Jennyh - when you are young you are confident and have faith in fellow humans, you are oblivious to the vast number of a***holes there are out there.

Ive been using Virgin trains (no choice in North Wales) for years and their wifi has always been "temporarily unavailable at this time"
