Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

OH has just returned home from a most enjoyable run with Mrs Jigs and says a big thank you for pacing him to a cracking PB and a county Gold Standard for his age cat. He was very excited to meet the Jigses!

I went out for a very sedate and early morning 8 miler, lovely to watch the sunrise, and it's a lovely day now.

DD1 has disappeared into town with her husband to explore the shops and caffs (they live in London now, so there have been lots of changes here since she last had a wander). Delighted that she ran her first ever parkrun here with us yesterday. She's been doing a Couch 2 5K and hasn't actually run a full 5k with it yet, so it was also her first go at the distance too. She got round and finished smiling and is keen to do some more near where she lives. We'll make a runner of her eventually!

Turkey sandwiches ahoy!

A PB?? That's fantastic on that lumpy course! I think we paced each other jk, took me a while to realise he was your husband, I had trouble remembering your real name so couldn't really ask him if he knew Jabberknit ;-)

Morning. I survived yesterday ( the 5 year was pretty lucky to survive..... most of us could have happily bludgeoned him)

Just being continuing clearing up but might abandon it for a run instead
