Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Oh dear, my target of 50 miles for the month has been scuppered thanks to me doing an FF (!)...too much rain this last two days and I won't make the lost miles up. But thanks for the encouragement gg. Nice photo of a peacock butterfly.
What a busy time you've had gg, not easy to fit in perfect training around such a schedule so hope you can get the fitness you need over the next six weeks .
I read some research somewhere that early morning runs were a good choice for weight loss LL! Three miles when you're tired though isn't nice ---story of my life these days😂.
What a great 7.59 mile Lesley and within a five miler too.

Super 14.4 miles FF but 14.5 would have been better!!!
I hope you get one of those kittens Mrsb, you did well setting them on their way but it's a difficult and tiring commitment raising them so young .
Fingers crossed for a dry start to Sunday and a run.

What a lovely photo GG. Those butterflies are so beautiful. Hope you manage to get some training done and it stops raining.

Well done on your Parkrun time HS. Also a good run there FF.

It's very time consuming looking after baby animals, like kids I would imagine. Fingers crossed the kittens survive and you can keep one Mrs B.

Will.do my long run tomorrow, hoping it's dry, it has been nice all day here.

I'm all talk FF!

A "long"(😂) run walk this morning. Four miles. No rain although threatening. I don't seem to be improving very much, if at all but be damned if I'm not going to plod on.
Been watching Diamond League athletics, hopefully dry in London for the meet today.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments on my parkrun.

I hope the rain held off for your long run today Lesley!

Well done Steve for this mornings 4 miles run walk.

It belted down with rain yesterday afternoon and evening, and the wind was very strong. Thankfully it stopped before this mornings run, and the sun is shining now 🌞

I ran a solo 4.41 miles on roads at recovery pace, but pushing hard up and down hills.

Steve you do make me laugh, well done on your 4 miles.
Another run hillstrider and a good training run tomorrow too no doubt, don't overdo it.
I hope you had a good run Lesley.
It stayed dry here but it's windy with gusts but I managed 14.8 miles this morning.

lol Steve I do run in the rain but try to avoid it if I can. Well done on your 4

Heading back after a good weekend, awful weather yesterday which was a shame as we had people staying so we didn’t get to do any nice walks.

Hope you had a good long run Lesley

Sounds like a good run hs

Well done FF for your 14.8 miles this morning.

GG, a shame that the adverse weather conditions prevented you from doing any nice walks.

I did a 10 miler this morning looking for some more routes. It was dry and warm. Ended up going through think forest to find a path that didn't come out where I thought it would. But it was great.

Good one FF and HS. Glad to see you out Steve.

Hope the weather changes soon for you GG.
