Good that you are feeling ok Dave, and ran an easy pace 4 miles yesterday. I think "fancied" a haircut, should have been "needed" a haircut 👴 I think that I probably would lose some pace if I stopped doing reps. They have always been an integral part of my training, so in a way have become a habit. Well done for this mornings 5.2 miles, bringing you to the brink of 100 miles for the month. This morning was a change to my usual routine. I have a gas engineer coming tomorrow to service my boiler, so will need to stay in. I therefore, did the Farmers Walk this morning. I've got my Covid booster vaccination on Saturday, so won't be parkrunning. I have an appointment with the Hygienist on Monday, but it's in the afternoon, so I will be able to run in the morning. |

Hello all, sorry I've been awol it's been a busy time recently. I've been reading to keep in touch but not had a lot of time to post. New car collected Monday, a couple of runs and a blood sample given for a trial alongside packing ready to go away in the morning. I've also been trying to get to 'know' the new car before we spend 4 hours driving in it tomorrow heading north. The next 10 days will involve walking but no running unless I do manage to get to Sewerby Hall parkrun a week on Saturday. Keep up the great running and training and I'll keep popping in to keep in touch with what you're all doing. |

Good running all round in here. Glad the legs are fine Dave. You really keep busy HS, hope you are ok after your booster. I didn't realise they still did them. Enjoy your holiday and your new wheels FF. I have done two easy runs this week, been rather cold again. Nothing from me till my race on Sunday. |

Have a great holiday FF, and I hope that you get on ok with your new car. Thanks Lesley, at present the jabs are for the 75+ category, but I presume that the level will drop, as per previous rounds. I'm waiting now for the engineer to arrive, scheduled between 8 and 12. |

Gas boiler service sounds appropriate hs, it's pretty chilly here! In fact this last few days has been colder in the nights and early morning than during February. I didn't much enjoy the north east wind on my 4.4 miles today, luckily the trail parts of my outing are sheltered and I sneaked over the 100 miles for the month. Another COVID jab hs, they seem to be happening more than we ever imagined. Glad the car was finally sorted out FF, enjoy your walking and holidaying. Not many hours until your 15 mile event Lesley, hope that it goes well and you enjoy it . |

The engineer has been Steve, and the boiler passed all the tests. He bled a couple of radiators that weren't heating up properly, and showed me how to adjust the pressure in the boiler. I hadn't bled them myself, as I wasn't sure how to return the pressure back to normal. I didn't know either that they were still giving Covid jabs until I got the email from the Doctors surgery. The NHS have deleted my app as I hadn't used it for 2 years. Seems stupid to me as they are encouraging everyone to use it to book Doctors appointments etc. Well done for this mornings 4.4 miles taking you over the 100 miles for the month. |
