1hr 15mins this morning with marathon repeats in the second half. Lots of cyclists on the trails so I had to stop often to let them pass :-(

He's much better now HS, hopefully it's a while before he gets something else. Well done on your run today.

That's irritating Mrs B especially during repeats. Well done on your run.

Forgot to mention! I’m having an unexpected day off! Was supposed to be working but the other instructor had to visit a relative who is ill, so we worked late last night and got everything done (just) yesterday.

I’ve been for a run, out for brunch, started a batch of sourdough (will cook tomorrow after school), made roasted butternut squash soup for lunches and gooseberry compote. I think being at work is less exhausting!

I'm afraid that cyclists always think that they have the right of way. Thankfully, we don't get many on the forest trails.

Thanks Lesley. I'm glad that he is much better now.

MrsB that sounds so good having time to do nice things and you've made me fancy roast butternut squash soup and sourdough bread - yum. And good session yesterday too.

We get plagued by cyclists and they are mostly very arrogant and expect you to know they are behind you. They drive me nuts.

Glad little man is better Lesley. Hope you are soon on the mend Steve.

I'm currently determining whether a move to a job that will take me away from home more often is a good thing (its a lot more money which obviously helps not least my final salary pension) or if they sort out this job allowing me to do more of what was expected would that be a better option.

Meeting a friend tonight for a possible run/plod, not seen her since November so really looking forward to seeing her (officially a run rest day today)

Happy new week team.

Sounds like a very tricky decision to make GG, there are pros and cons for both options. I hope that you enjoy your meet up with a friend this evening.

This morning was a 6.39 mile forest run with the Monday Group. We were very surprised by the underfoot conditions. It was swampy in many places, necessitating careful negotiation. We would definitely have worn trail shoes if we had been aware of the conditions.

That sounds challenging hs, sounds similar to our woods run yesterday roll on dry weather.

It was challenging GG, but we enjoyed it. Monday runs are social ones, but we are still competitive with each other. They challenged me on the hills, and I "lived up to my user name!"

Your run does sound very similar to ours.

Just back from my Farmers Walk in light rain.

No motivation this morning, my cold is lingering. I did make myself go out and I ran around the block adding a little cul-de-sac making it 4.2 miles. I shall run again tomorrow (probably) to avoid Thursdays weather.
