Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Well done Lesley, getting your grey heart, but sorry it has gone again, you will soon get it back though.

Welcome to this friendly thread TBR, you will get plenty of encouragement.

MrsB you are way above me in the league table, despite your injury, so I wouldn't worry too much about your mileage. Concentrate on your recovery, walking will help you to maintain your fitness.

I ran the isolation 5k virtual challenge again this morning, in very windy conditions. My time was 26.41, which is 15 seconds slower than last week, and a WAVA of 69.12%. During my first mile, a white van driver,or passenger, threw a tin can at me which just missed, but bounced in front of me, nearly tripping me up. It broke my stride, losing my rhythm for a few seconds and cursing. Why are there such idiots around? If I had trodden on the can, I would probably have broken an ankle, fallen and perhaps broken some bones. That would have finished my running career๐Ÿ‘ฟ
