Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Just for geordiegirl I rounded up this mornings run to 10 miles and not 9.8*

I thought it wise not to attempt the 20 miler on my plan ;-) I always seem to get injured / be ill when marathon training. Perhaps I should stick to the short fast stuff.

🤣🤣 Fenland Flier I’ll have you as obsessed as me if you’re not careful

Good luck today hillstrider

Fantastic running scottdog

Rest day here if you can call cleaning a boat restful. Maybe I’ll add it as cross training. Definitely chilly but lovely blue skies.

Well done Scottdog!

HS how did it go?

I took the weekend off, I don’t feel too bad but not taking any chances.

Best take it easy FF, don’t want to push it after Covid.

Like GG I always round up too.

Thanks everyone for your very kind good luck wishes, it helped me to try my best in the Salisbury 10 mile road race. I came 536/744 with a chip time of 1.36.11, and gun time 1.36.37. I ran the whole way with a club running friend. The early miles seemed really easy, and we only upped the effort in the final 2 miles, and sprinted the final 3/4 of the running track dead heating. The structured training over many weeks has definitely paid off.

This morning was a very slow 6.74 mile forest recovery run. I had to slow down even more at around 4 miles as my right knee twinged, to be on the safe side. Will probably have 2 rest days now.

Good running Turkhish.
