Thanks for the list, Girlie. Joseph did a lot of rushing around (Nazareth to Bethlehem for the census; to Egypt to escape from Herod; and back again to Nazareth when Herod had died) so a good companion for runners.
Julzy, I'm inspired mainly because I can see that the 1000 is do-able but I haven't got there yet and over Christmas may not be able to get much running in.
And for the champers, of course.
Just added another 3.2, - 31-and-a-bit to go!

My annual check-up at the coronary heart disease clinic tomorrow has been put back a week. That means I can get a 10 miler in tomorrow morning to help reduce the 70 miles I still have outstanding but then 1000 miles has only been something to aim for this year - it's not the be all and end all of what running is about for me. The 1000 miles will still be there next year along with more half marathon trips abroad. In the meantime tomorrow evening is running club party time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Salty Yule Log
First mile of tonight's 5k took me through the barrier, so sitting nocely at 1002 now. Some consolation after missing pb by 4 seconds.
