27 in week one, which I'm chuffed with although bits of me are complaining loudly!
Any miles is miles in my book.

At least 11km today, comprising a parkrun, run home and an unexpected dash for the start line thanks to Manchester MetroLink having a bus replacement service (and the driver didn't know where he was going). I can totally see why people drive so much with the state of public transport...

Experience comes with age Evangel........... Which was the better WAVA score?
Stander - I hope you can keep this mileage up. Looking forward to seeing you in action at the 24 Hour Thunder Run this year. Like last year I will be in a team of 7/8 from my running club.
Ran my local (Banstead Woods) Parkrun this morning. Twas wet and muddy underfoot.

14 miles today takes my monthly total to 46. Blumin hell. I might beat my biggest month total of 109 at this rate.

Very very slow 5k on treadmill, had mant to do more as behind target. Think two spin classes, one body combat and a personal training session yesterday might explain heavy legs. Personal Trainer said it was an easier session than usual as it was the first of the year (he's been away) didn't feel like it.
Hoping to manage a bit more tomorrow before Body pump and combat combo.
OH working the next four weekends so should be able to catch up, trying to be at home more when he's at home.......... he is proud of what I have achieved running wise but does sometimes feel a tad neglected.

Parkhopper, the 1985 time had a slightly better WAVA, but I'm optimistic of bettering it sometime this year. Still, it doesn't really matter as long as we keep fit and enjoy our running; any other targets are just a bonus.
This morning I did my first Long Run for 4 weeks - 8.16 miles. The road was flooded in places, so that cooled down my foot a bit!
