11 miles done in the cold and dark tonight. My legs were very heavy to begin with after yesterday's race but they eased up by the end to get my new year of running off to a flying start

Rigel & Parkhopper, it's nice to see you here. It's encouraging to meet old friends when you start a new thread.
I haven't started yet, as I have been recovering from a stomach bug, but I hope to have my first stagger tomorrow. See you all then.

A recovery run on NY Day and after copious amounts of coffee I'm heading out for 7-8 today. Feeling positive about this year's running.

2011 has started well for me.. 16 miles in the bag already, and a short recovery run planned for today - if I can shake off this cold.
