No 100 for me this month, the first one I've missed this year - but I'm ok with it. I ran as much as I could on holiday, but it was very hot - so I came back on the 13th with 24.6 under my belt. I was expecting something like that, so I was still confident - but then a week that included getting the boy to university, and the consequent clearing out of our rental house meant there was little time for running. I reached the 22nd on 32 miles, but still thought it was possible. 27 miles over the next four days, then I pulled something in my groin to leave me stranded on 59ish. On the plus side, I managed to run on Saturday and Sunday, shortening my stride length and lowering my cadence to be on the safe side. Touch wood it all went reasonably well, so I'll end the month on 74.4. Fingers crossed I have a good October, with EfM coming up in November |

No 100 for me either, though with fewer decent excuses than Lord Fetch. Just too much stuff going on, but I’m okay with it too. September did include a HM pb and my first fell race so plenty to console myself with

"Stuff" inevitably impacts on busy people. I'm not very busy! I'm a bit of a cheat in some ways because I can't do continual runs so it's all run/ walk. But in addition I walk (with no runs) as additional miles yet don't record them ; usually in excess of thirty walking miles a month. One day I might be able to run continuously /properly again.🫰

I'm finishing 1.5 miles short of this being my highest mileage month since October 2010. Nope. Not taking the bait. |

200.8/100 - Was looking sub 200 when I had nearly 50 miles to go with only 4 days left but just made it

100.4 for me to finish the month. Exactly half @NDWDave’s total.

Just under two miles needed this evening. Darn, I forgot my flippers.... (couldn't log it as a run if I did have them, of course! But it's wet out there!)
